Review:

I love this storybook! It is not only adorable (it does have some very well done, eye appealing illustrations), but it is also a great way to introduce your children to prayer. It contains a wealth of knowledge for such a short picture book. Within its pages are solid Biblical truths, all centered around the topic of prayer. It is an excellent way to teach children what prayer is, why we need to pray, how Jesus taught us to pray, plus so much more. I was amazed at just how detailed a storybook could be! It has been a wonderful read aloud for my youngest who no wreads it on her own because she enjoyed it so much that she keeps going back for more. She is now saying she would like to take it to church and read it to some of the younger kids or in the nursery/toddlers classes. If your family is looking for a way to teach your children about prayer, this is the book you need to add to your family library. It is well written, easy to understand, and Biblically based. I highly recommend this book for parents of younger children. (And though it is best suited for ages two to five, my daughter is seven and loved it. There is still plenty to learn from it at any age!)
