This album has been in my baby’s cd player on his bed for the past week or so now. He listens to it each night as he falls asleep and it has proven to be a soothing experience for his younger ears. Though he is only two months old he appears to love listening to it and quiets down when it is turned on. I have enjoyed letting it play while I have been working in my bedroom or trying to quiet his crying. It has made an excellent means of discussing classical music and showing younger kids how enjoyable classical music can be. So many people do not listen to it, finding it boring and unappealing. But through albums such as this parents can teach children an appreciation for the music of our past and help them to see that there is beauty in it, starting from a young age and continuing to teach this love and appreciation as they grow older. It is well worth the time to listen to and is well done and entertaining.
