Review:

Boasting is something that comes easily for children. It is easy to get caught up in ourselves and our accomplishments, becoming a prideful person. Nobody likes to listen to bragging and boasting, but it happens all of the time. Bobby Boast-A-Lot boasts on every page of the book, only to be proven wrong. And as was the case with the other Little Lots books this book gave kids a visual illustration of how one feels when they boast only to be shown otherwise.  Poor Bobby feels smaller and smaller each time he boasts and when someone does better than him.  Everyone seems bigger, even Tiny Tina. I thought this was an excellent illustration or children, showing them how one feels and what happens when you boast. It makes for a great lesson, one well worth sharing with your kids. There is plenty to talk about and many wonderful examples in this book that children can relate to. This is a great story with darling illustrations that have great eye appeal. This is yet another wonderful book from a wonderful series.
