Properly Esteeming the Call of God

By Samatha Phillips

In the past week or so the Lord has put something on my heart so strong that I can’t forget it, and that something is esteeming His call. God has called this and many other generations before us to fulfill His divine destiny in our lives and the lives of all those around us. Unfortunately few have known of the seriousness of the Christian commitment and did not properly esteem Him.

God heard the cries of the Isrealites as they were held in bondage in Egypt. He called out to Moses from the burning bush and called him to lead His people out of slavery. Moses obeyed the Lord and properly esteemed the times and was bl essed beyong belief for doing so. In fact, his obedience later led him to be spiritually able to step into the prescence of the fear of the Lord, which was so thick and intense that a dark black cloud formed over the mountain. He stepped int o it& nbsp; and gave up everything he had to serve the Lord.

God is calling us as Christians to lead His people out of the bondage of the devil. He has called out to us in different ways, but why are we ignoring Him? Do we truly want Him to punish us or do we want Him to bless us with righteousne ss throughout our homes, schools, cities, and our entire country? Why trade righteousness for the filthiness of sin, which is what chokes most Americans anyway? Why not answer His call?

God loves us and wants us to be holy just as He is holy. That’s why He’s giving us another chance to repent of our sins before He uses His rod of correction to punish us. In order to esteem it though we must obey Him. We have to w itness to the lost and show them to repent of sins. We must stop sinning ourselves. We must pray against demons in His name and take back our authority. We must serve God through persecution and hard times. Even when the fear of God i s so intense that no one can stand, we must humbly go before Him and say, “Lord, how can I serve you today?” We HAVE TO ESTEEM HIS CALL!!!

So, Christians, I am challenging you to go into your schools and witness and to pray for souls and His mercy. Repent of the sins of this nation and take back the authority He gave us. Don’t stop untill He brings the holy rain. And when He does revive the lands, serve Him with all you have, for He is worthy!!
