Review:

I absolutely love reading the various books that Irene Howat keeps providing. I find that I learn so much from her each time I read a book and I enjoy it greatly. I have been writing studies on various women of the Bible and features as women in history so many of the names that are covered in this book are ones that I am familiar with already. I do enjoy reading about these women again, seeing them through Howat’s eyes and imagination as girls destined to be used by God for the glory of His kingdom. Howat’s stories are very entertaining and highly enjoyable, giving readers a great way to learn about real people that made a difference as well as giving them a valuable book to read and improve those skills as well. The names that jumped out at me from this book were Gladys Aylward, Amy Carmichael, Corrie Ten Boom, and many others. There were ten wonderful stories within this books that I learned much from once again. It was a great book and one I enjoyed immensely. I can see amazing value in this book and all of the others Howat has written so far.
