Review:

Within this book are forty cults and new religions. Author Ron Rhodes explains each one in a concise, easy to understand, straight forward manner. He provides a history for each so readers can learn where the religion or cult originated, how, and why. He also offers readers an explanation of each group’s doctrines, something I have found very interesting and educational. But it is the Christian response to each that I have found to be the most beneficial feature in this book. It has helped me to draw conclusions, make connections and has prepared me with a better understanding of each group and how I might respond.  Each group is only a few pages long, but it is informative and insightful, providing a wealth of information. This is a great resource to have on hand to turn to when faced with questions about other religions or cults.
