2 Corinthians 9:8 And God is able to bless you abundantly, so that in all things at all times, having all that you need, you will abound in every good work.
Today’s verse is such an amazing promise. There is so much we can unpack from these words from Paul. But let’s focus on the grace we are given in it and what it means for us.
God is able to bless you abundantly. He is the source of abundant blessings and He wants to give them to us. He wants us to be happy and He has plans to give us everything we could ever imagine. He has a glorious life for us, if we just stop and seek Him instead of the world’s ways.
Not only that, but He also blesses us ABUNDANTLY. His grace is not just a one time thing that we experience once in our lives. It can be abundant, and so much so that it overflows from us onto others. When we are experiencing His abundant grace it is easy to let it fill us to overflowing and share it with others.
The key to receiving this abundant grace and these bountiful blessings is to serve others. We are given all we could ever need and from it our works will be bountiful, as well. He supplies us with all we would ever need and from there we abound in every good work we set our minds to. It requires us to trust in Him and His provision, but we have the promise that He will bless us abundantly. We simply need to walk in His ways and live for Him, serving others and blessing them in the same ways we are being blessed.
