Ephesians 2:10 For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.
There is nothing more amazing than to think that each of us was created for a purpose, hand crafted and shaped by the Maker, to do His good work. We are totally undeserving of His grace, but He loves us regardless and He wants to use us to do His will. He created us to worship Him, to live for Him, and He wants to bless us.
Each one of us is a unique, hand crafted piece of art. God has formed us, shaped us, made us into the beautiful, special individuals we are. And each one of us was made new when we put our faith in Jesus (2 Corinthians 5:17). We were made into masterpieces, intentionally shaped into wondrous individuals with a purpose.
Better than that, He created each of us with this end result in mind. He prepared it in advance for us to do. He has laid out the roadmap for our lives and His Spirit guides our every step. We still have free will to choose, to decide to obey, but He orchestrates everything and has a divine plan in place that will glorify Him and proclaim His Name to the world.
Know that you are special. God has created you as a unique individual who is loved beyond all measure. He sent His Son to die for you and His Spirit is now within your heart. You are a new creation (Colossians 3:10), God’s handiwork – His masterpiece, and He has created you with a purpose.
Let Him use you today to do the good works that He knows you will do, that He has laid in your path to do. And proclaim His Name to all the nations starting with those in your immediate vicinity. He wants none to perish and all to come to know Him and His great love (2 Peter 3:9). Be His mouthpiece today, His hands and His feet, and do the good works He has laid before you to do..
