Isaiah 40:26 Lift up your eyes and look to the heavens: Who created all these? He who brings out the starry host one by one and calls forth each of them by name. Because of His great power and mighty strength, not one of them is missing.
If you have ever gotten away from the cities where the lights obscure the view of the stars, you have probably found yourself absolutely amazed at the heavens above. It is astounding just how many stars you can see with the naked eye. And knowing there are millions or more that we cannot see is simply mind-blowing!
Who created all of these? Our amazing God did and He calls each by name, one by one. I struggle to remember names of all of the people I have met… Yet He knows each star by name. That is just BEYOND comprehension!
If you are wondering what the stars above have to do with boldness, here’s where I am going with it. The God who knows each and every star by name also knows every hair on your head (Matthew 10:30). He made it all, from the stars to each person, and He called it all good. You are good. He made you exactly how He wanted you and He loved you enough to send His Son to die for you.
That should give you confidence to go through your days. He made you and sees you as perfect, made in His image. We can approach every day with boldness in the love of our God. He knows us personally and sees every one of us. We are not lost amongst the billions of people worldwide. Not one of them is missing…. He sees you, friend.
