Psalm 22:27 All the ends of the earth will remember and turn to the Lord, and all the families of the nations will bow down before him.
We live in a world that is corrupt and sin filled and some days it seems to only be getting worse, not better. The lack of faith, the absence of Christian values, and the downward spiral of morality make it hard to believe there will be a day when everyone and everything will bow before our Lord. But we have that promise in numerous verses in the Bible. A day WILL come when He will be glorified and reign on high (Zechariah 13:9).
We have verses like today’s that show us what will happen in the future. A day will come when all the earth, every living creature, will turn to the Lord. Revelation 7:9-10 tells us a multitude from every nation, tribe, and tongue will sing His praises. It WILL happen, though when is still unknown. But He will be exalted and the world will praise His holy name.
Until that time we should do our part to share Him with all those who don’t yet know Him. Sharing the gospel is not something reserved for a select few. It is not the sole responsibility of your pastor or a missionary team. It is something everyone should be doing because we all know people who don’t know Jesus yet.
And we should worship Him now. Our lives should be lived in a way that is pleasing to Him. Praise and worship should be our daily response to the events in our lives. It should flow from us naturally, organically. Every breath in our lungs should be giving Him the glory He deserves. He gave His life for us. We can give our praise in return.
Today find someone who doesn’t know Jesus and share Him with them. And praise Him for that divine appointment, the opportunity to share His grace with others.
