Review:

There is nothing like relating to others to better understand what the lesson is about. So many stories and biographies are written about grown ups, and kids and youth read these stories without really relating to them personally. That is why I like this book. It gives the stories of ten boys who grew up to become men who refused to give in to the pressures and the wills of society around them. Their stories give younger readers the inspiration they need to continue in life, to take a stand and stay strong, doing what is right instead of what is expected of them. Some of the names covered in this short and easy to read book are Thomas Cranmer, James Chalmers, Nate Saint, Polycarp, and Dietrich Bonhoeffer, among others. It is full of stories and information that will educate and inspire any reader of any age. It is an excellent addition to your home library and makes for great devotional style readings. These are great focus lessons that could easily be covered by small groups or home school families.
