Review:

I watched the latest Veggie Tales video with my eight month old son and 7 year old stepdaughter. Both of them were glued to the screen from the start of the video and watched straight through to the end. This latest video was exactly what my family needed. The first short video segment showed a young Miriam having to care for baby Moses and struggling with not being the baby herself any longer. Something our seven year old has recently been struggling with herself. It was the perfect message and one that I am sure many other kids probably also need to hear. The Bible story covered in the next portion was the story of Ruth. Duke Duke was her champion, thinking of her and providing for her while all of the others scoffed and made fun of her, telling her to go back to her home. I laughed at the funny little things that make Veggie Tales so unique. The princess was a Rhubarbarian. The French Peas in the Moses and Miriam story were told their heads would be had if they laid a hand on the baby to which they replied< “I’m not sure how that would work.” (Being JUST a head I found it quite amusing.) There is so much humor that only adults catch and such a positive Bible based lesson and summary at the end of each video that it is a must have for your family video library.
