Hebrews 3:13 But encourage one another daily, as long as it is called today, so that none of you may be hardened by sin’s deceitfulness.
For the past few weeks my youth group has been talking about encouragement I really think it is an important topic and something many of us just leave alone. It is extremely important to encourage people because if you were never encouraged, would you even want to get out of the bed in the morning? Maybe. Maybe not. Here are a couple verses from the Bible that you can use to encourage people. I challenge you to encourage at least 3 people today.
Proverbs 15:1 A gentle answer turns away wrath, but a harsh word stirs up anger.
Proverbs 1:22-23 “How long will you simple ones love your simple ways? How long will mockers delight in mockery and fools hate knowledge? If you had responded to my rebuke, I would have poured out my heart to you and made my thoughts known to you.
Of course, any verse in the Bible could encourage people. I just listed two, so you can pass these along. J Remember your challenge for the day… but remember also challenge others. Make this a chain of encouragements. One person can make a difference in the world. That person is you.
