Review:

Healing prayer is a term I was not familiar with upon starting the book. Of course, I found that though the term was unknown to me, the concept was not. I have long taught people about the power in prayer and the peace and comfort that it ushers in – which in this book is healing. This book leads the reader on a healing journey, showing them how. It offers personal experiences as examples, showing readers that the author is a man that they can relate to, someone who really does understand and speaks as one who has been there.  There are also great questions that will help you reflect on your own lies. It encourages you to think about your own lie and the hurts you have that need to be given to God and healed. This book is easy to read and flows quickly. The author’s style is inviting which encourages the reader to dig deeper into the book and ultimately into their own hearts. A great book on prayer. It is perfect for the counselor to learn from and will surely help any reader that opens their hearts and minds to its message.
