Faith Will Get You Through

by Chrissy Johnson

Hebrews 11:1 Now faith is being sure of what we hope for and certain of what we do not see.

Everyone who had started high school, or any school for that matter, knows it’s not always an easy place to be. Right now I just finished my last week of real school of my sophomore year. All that’s left is three days of finals next week and then we all must say good bye. For some of us it will just be good bye for a few days until we hang out again, some it will be good bye until next school year, and then for the seniors…Well these good byes are the hardest. Many of them will be busy preparing for college over the summer and then they will be leaving.

But mainly at this time of the year I try to think back to all that has happened this year. In the first few weeks you see all the new freshman who really have no idea what they’re doing, but here is how faith comes in. These new freshman must have faith that they will make it, or to put it simple, they won’t. And with this fait they go through their first year of high school and now are ready to move on! Faith will get them through.

For the Sophomores and Juniors they have faith that eventually then will make it out of high school, but for now they just have to keep going. And finally the seniors, they have faith that they will make it in the world and through college. They have this faith and it keeps them going, Faith will get them through.

But you know, all this kind of faith is great and all, but is it the faith you should be focused on? In all the hustle and stress and confusion of school and everything else focus on God. We need to always remember that our faith should be in Him and Him alone. He is the one who is always with us. So don’t ever forget to give time to God because faith in Him will get you through!

Romans 8:28 And we know that is all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose.

So just remember to focus on God and he will get you through anything.
