Review:

Having now worked with Teens4Jesus for about five years, I have seen many requests for help from parents. They have even begun to request that our ministry put together a parenting support site. So books like this one by Wayne Rice are very important in today’s society. Parents are looking for the help that books like this provide. Yet the market is flooded with books on parenting. So what sets this book apart from any of the others available today? The cover image alone was enough to catch my eye. The title made me think that this book would be humorous. But I can say that though I did not find the humor that I thought would be contained within the book I did find a wealth of information. I was blown away by the amazing words of wisdom spoken by youth ministry workers who not only work with our kids but have kids of their own. Their ideas were amazing, and God was not left out of the picture. This is a must read by all parents, teenager or not. There are excellent suggestions for parents of any age child, and everything is realistic and easy to accomplish and implement in your own home. This is a great book and I highly recommend it.
