Review:

The first release from Jenkins Entertainment is a smash! I was extemely impressed with the plot, the actors, and the overall quality of Hometown Legend. This movie is sure to be a hit with all who view it. I enjoyed seeing a movie that had a positive message that was not full of ooey-gooey cheesieness as some Christian movies can tend to be.Hometown Legend truly inspired me. As I sat watching the movie I was encouraged by the faith of the youth in the movie. It was not overwhelming or preachy, but was just present enough that by the end of the movie you walked away thinking “God is truly amazing.”

The story was touching. I was shocked by the opening scenes of the movie, not expecting it to begin the way it did, and a little shocked by the end of the movie when things also didn’t end the way I expected. But overall I was pleased with the movie’s plot and thought of many different people who would truly enjoy this movie. I highly recommend that you pick up this movie at your local Christian bookstore or wherever movies are sold. You will not regret the time and investment in this truly unique movie. Kudos to the Jenkins Entertainment team for a job well done!
