Review:

Contemporary fiction is not usually my favorite genre to read when it comes to pleasure reading. But Sandra Byrd has a style about her, a way of writing that always makes me seem to forget my preferences as I read her books. This latest book, the beginning of a new series, captured my attention and interest from the beginning of the first chapter. I felt that this story was one that youth could relate to. Meg questions her place in a family turned upside down with change. It is always refreshing to see a book that remembers God and includes Him in the story. He was not an overwhelming moral lesson in the book, but the silent yet clear strength and support that Meg needed as she grew.  I think it will be welcomed by many female readers. Sandra Byrd has once again written an excellent book that has a great, entertaining story.
