Review:

The Bible has long been a best-selling book as well as one of controversy as translation after translation has been developed and released to the public. People have even gone so far as to questions children’s bibles entirely as well as their need for them.  I find these kinds of books wonderful, having taught for many years. This is a way to interest children and help them understand. No one cares to read a book they cannot understand or struggle to pronounce words from. So why should we expect children to read a King James Bible and then live it? They need a Bible written at their own level, with visual stimulus that catches their eye and makes it interesting. The Kids’ Quest Study Bible does exactly that. It is visually appealing and is written on about a third grade reading level, allowing kids the opportunity to read God’s Word and understand it at an earlier age, making it something realistic and enjoyable, setting that foundation of faith much earlier in lie.  The study notes are great, helping kids to think about the various passages and helping them to better understand. This was a great Bible version, though I think it could have included more study notes and questions for kids to get them thinking. But otherwise, it was very well done.
