Review:

I found this book to be a very interesting one due to the format and approach taken by the three authors. I loved the fact that three different people took a look at one central character in faith and shared their own thoughts and interpretations. It was interesting to me to see the different thoughts and the basis for each. I learned a lot of things about Mary that I did not know and see her in a new light now. Though I thought this would appeal more to a Catholic audience it does give a better look at who Mary was and the role she has had in history. The thing I liked most about this book is the fact that it is historically based. The authors draw from history to show readers who Mary was to both the Jewish people and the Christians. It is an interesting book though I am not sure I would have bought it myself. But I am glad to have had the chance to lead it and see the pictures.
