Review:

I was super excited to read this book when it became available because I absolutely loved the first book in the series. Being a kid’s book, the story was easy to read and follow along, and was a lot of fun. This well written story is just as good as the first book, if not better. The writing style is fluid and seamless, taking readers on a journey that is exciting and unbelievable. There’s nothing more enjoyable than a fun superhero story and author Meredith Davis provides just that. And the illustrations from artist Billy Young add a nice visual element that helps to bring the story to life. My daughter was just as excited to see this book on my desk as I was to receive it because she loved the first book more than I did. She read it multiple times and so far I am thinking she will be doing the same with this one. She was not happy with me making her wait until I was finished reading and writing the review before I gave it to her, but she dove right in the minute I did. Even though it has a male protagonist who is older than my daughter is, she found the story to be irresistable. She hasn’t put it down since I passed it to her. In my opinion,  that tells you how great the story is. If you are struggling to find a book series to engage your kids in reading, try this series out. And adults will also find it fun and entertaining! I know I did.
