Review:

I picked up this book not sure what to expect from it. I decided that rather than read the back cover to get a “feel” for what it was about I would simply read it. So that is exactly what I did. And I found it to be not only a quick easy read, but an enjoyable one as well. I loved the story telling of author Eugene Parker. It was well written and definitely interesting. I enjoy mysteries and books that leave you wondering what is going to happen next. And this is one that left me wondering and reading on to find out more. It was also nice to see a book where the Gospel was presented to a character as part of the story. It was realistic, on the most part, giving readers a chance to look at their own hearts and to seek God themselves if they needed Him. I loved that. Usually when you see God included in a novel in any evangelistic way it is overdone and tends to push readers away. This was not the case though. Overall, I found the book to be one that was enjoyable and entertaining. A great job for author Eugene Parker, and our warmest well wishes to him as promotes this novel and works on new projects.
