Review:

I am always amazed at what missionaries do, at the lives they lie, at the work they are able to do in foreign countries. I am always inspired by their lives after seeing what they have done and how they lived. This was one of those books that once again touched me, reached in to my heart and made me want to make a difference in the world around me. You do not realize what a difference a person can make until you read about the lives of missionaries and see the impact they made on their worlds. China is so far away that often we forget that there are people there who are in need of God, who have never heard of Him before. And we don’t usually think about those Chinese women who were raised in completely different cultures than our own, with different customs, and the fact that these women did not have much opportunity, if any, to hear the Gospel. So it took women like those in this book, going forth and sharing, going in to their homes, making a difference in their lives. This book is a great reminder of what the other side of the world sees happening, and the past history it has had.
