Review:

Whether the Christian community likes it or not there is a huge population of single parents out there, whether from divorce, death, or simply out of wedlock children. Single parents are as much the norm now as married parents. And many kids have 2 sets of parents now due to divorce and remarrying, with one parent being single for awhile. Regardless of the family make up there is still a need for support. Single parents are not social outcasts any longer. They are not “ungodly” people. But they can always use the help offered by others like them, just as married moms advise and support one another. Aldrich has written a much needed book of wisdom and support, and the book’s re-release is as much needed today as it was nearly fifteen years ago. What a great source of strength and hope. This is an excellent book of support for any single parent, mom or dad. Just because it is written for women does not mean that only women can read it. All single parents will find hope and encouragement within the pages of this book.
