Review:

I have been impressed by other “Smart Pages” books by Regal, so was excited to see this book hit my desk for review. I am always amazed by these books and the massive amount of information that is contained within it. As with the other books in the series this book again provides a wealth of information. Not only are pre-teen workers taught about what to expect of the age and how to understand them, they are provided with games, service projects, events, and so much more. Kid’s Ministries are crazy to try to survive without a book like this there to help them. The pages are reproducible, so there are no worries of copyright infringement since that is granted upon purchase of the book. I think my favorite portion of the book was on the outreach to families. It was nice to see the families of pre-teens addressed by the book, giving wonderful information for those individuals. This is a great book to have new pre-teen ministry workers read before getting involved and would make a great training book as well as being a value or the ministry as a whole as a reference piece.
