Rejection

By: Matt Morley

Rejection means a lot of different things, whether it’s from friends, family, a spouse, or a child, maybe even a stranger, it means we’ve been snubbed in the worst possible way by someone we have put our trust into. Believe me REJECTION HURTS!

When we have been rejected we seem to be angry, bitter, and we think the whole world hates us, and that we cant do anything right. These are perfectly understandable responses. But in the end it doesn’t take away the pain. Just remember God never rejects us!

Are we stuck with the pain though? Lets look at someone here. His name: Jesus. His purpose: forgiving sins and paying for them. What he did too pay for them: Died on the cross after being REJECTED by the world. Lets look at John 12:37 “Even after Jesus did all the miraculous signs in their presence, they still would not believe him.” So the answer to my question is NO! We dont have to be stuck with the pain. Jesus was rejected for us to pay for that pain.

Rejection is a terrible thing and many people have gone through it, including me. Mostly with the ladies. All the ladies in the world could reject me, have nothing to do with me. I still would have someone love me with all there heart, Jesus. That’s the way we have to look at.
