Sexual Harassment

By: Mandy Hughett

NO MATTER where you are…no matter how old you are…no matter WHO you are…sexual harrassment is not OK. It is against the law. It is not allowed in school or at work. You should know this because it could help make school/work a lot easier. I have been sexually harassed twice. Both times I didnt think of it as sexual harassment.

BUT IT WAS.

The next time it happens, I will turn this person in. I made the mistake last time of thinking that this person is too young and doesnt realize what he is doing. It was a huge mistake. It happened again, and until I tell him what he is doing and that I am going to turn him in, he will continue to do it.

Don’t make the same mistake I did. If you are being sexually harassed, don’t take it. Go to the school office or your work manager. Tell them what is happening and then let them take care of it. You wont be sorry.

If you wanted to be nice (which a lot of times you probably will do this) just tell the person straight out, “If you say that to me again, I will turn you in for sexual harassment.”

TAKE A STAND TODAY AND TOMORROW WILL BE A BETTER DAY.
