Review:

It took me forever to finally pop the DVD in to my player, which is horrible and highly unprofessional of me, but once I got to viewing I was pleased with the film. Though some of the actors in the film were a little unconvincing in their roles, the overall end product was an entertaining movie that I enjoyed watching very much. The story line was wonderful. Perhaps it is my Indiana Jones loving archeology side… but the search for the medallion was right up my alley. I think that this is a film that would appeal greatly to youth because that is the primary age level of the characters in the film. There is fighting, adventure, danger, and tons of excitement and mystery. The music was not bad either, giving scenes a more modern edge. It was definitely a film that I wanted to finish watching once I began. I did not want to stop watching it once I got in to the story. I had to laugh a few time sat the actors, though a few more acting lesson and a little less effort would probably have made them more believable (some just tried too hard instead of relaxing in their roles – while others did an excellent job and were very convincing in their parts). The filming was great, the setting very realistic (minus the one wall that seemed a bit wobbly when they were running through the secret passage), and all other aspects well done, making this a very good video. The positive aspect of faith made it a true treat since so many films of today are nothing but profanity and sex appeal. It was nice to see a wholesome, family film. Well done.
