Review:

I have heard of prayer walking and have known people who have done it but have never really thought anything more about it. I have never done a prayer walk or even observed one. I understood the concept of it but have never thought about exploring the topic further. This short, no-nonsense book did a great job of introducing the reader to what a prayer walk is, as well as teaching them how to do it. It was a great means of raising awareness to how powerful prayer is and can be. It was enlightening to me to realize that you can prayer walk anywhere at any time. You do not have to designate a site to prayer walk (like going to walk around a school or to pray over a hospital) but prayer walking can be done any place you find yourself. It was an eye opener to me to think that all of the times I have been out exercising and walking around my own neighborhood, or those times I was at the mall shopping, or cleaning the house, or mowing the lawn, and was actually praying, that those were prayer walks I was on. If more people were aware of their prayers and when and where they are praying, they could be so much more influential to those around them. And it takes books like this to raise that awareness.
