What an amazing read! I enjoyed this book so, so much. It was not only enjoyable and well written, but it was educational and inspirational. I found myself lost in the story, drawn in from the very beginning, from early in the first chapter, and was unable to put it down. I read it fairly quickly as a result of this. And I was NOT disappointed. Thanks to talented author Tessa Afshar, a story that I have long liked from the Bible, was brought to life before my eyes. I gained a new insight and understanding to the times and what life might have been like for people during that time. And the characters came to life through the creative writing of Afshar. I immediately found myself liking the main characters and became emotionally involved in their lives wondering how things would play out for them, while knowing how the story played out in the Bible. I loved it! I did not have any trouble with readability, finding this book to be easy to read and inviting. I found no grammatical mistakes or mechanics errors that would distract from the story. And it wasn’t overly descriptive like some novels can be. If you have never read a book by author Tessa Afshar, I highly recommend you pick up one of her novels. If you want a good read, this is the one to select!
