Book Review: Unshaken

I love when you find a book that not only captures your attention and keeps you reading longer than you planned, but also has a solid message of faith and redemption spattered throughout. I love the message of this book. I did not read any prior books by author Shelley Shepard Gray so am not sure if this is part of a series (it doesn’t appear to be so) meaning I missed out on background. But I was able to follow this story with no problems or confusion. I found myself immediately drawn into and immersed in the story. I was hooked from the very start! I normally don’t read a lot of suspense books, nor have I read many Amish themed stories. But I was pleasantly surprised with this book and found myself being pulled in deeper and deeper with each page I read. I simply could not put it down! This was my first book by the author and I can say it will not be my last! Definitely a fan here. She is an amzing storyteller and has brought characters to life that live on in my mind despite the fact I have finished reading the story. I was actually disappointed to find it coming to an end and wished it could on longer. I can’t wait to see what she offers next! A must read for fans of suspense, romance, and/or Amish related stories.
