Review:

I have long been a fan of Veggie Tales and have been amazed at the lessons Big Idea has provided for our children. I was thrilled to see that Big Idea and Integrity Publications  had produced a reference tool to accompany the other products previously released. And I absolutely loved the book and all the information it contained.  Being a teacher, I am always trying to teach students how to use reference tools such as dictionaries. So I see the value in this dictionary just based on what it is – a dictionary. But one of the challenges I have faced as a teacher trying to teach kids to use a dictionary or reference tool is making it fun and interesting. By using a theme like Veggie Tales to explain concepts and to add eye appeal the dictionary takes on a life all its own, becoming an even better resource. I love the fact that now I can teach the children I work with not only how to use a dictionary through such a fun, eye catchy resource, but they can learn how to use a bible dictionary to learn more about God’s Word and the message it contains or those who seek it. This is an excellent reference resource to invest in. It is a must for homeschoolers and families that are teaching their children how to find information on God in other resources available to them.
