Review:

I began doing research on great Christian women in history less than a year ago, featuring one woman each month. I was very excited to have the opportunity to review this book. I was anxious not only to broaden my view on great women in history and to learn about influential women in American history at that, but also to be inspired by their lives, motivated to action by their own deeds and lives. And I found it to be a wonderful inspiration. I did learn tons o new things, learned more about famous names from the history books, and was exposed to some new women I have never heard of before. Names like Dolley Madison, Pocahontas, Betsy Ross, Laura Ingalls Wilder, and Helen Keller were ones that I knew of already. But I did learn more about each of these women than I knew of before. And names like Marian Anderson, Queen Kaahumanu, Rebecca Lukens, and Eliza Shirley were new to me. Their stories were unknown to me and I was thrilled to learn more about them. I loved the chance to learn more and think others will also enjoy the book and all it has to offer. A great read for history lovers.
