Review:

I have a hard time reading books by Gilbert Morris and not having good things to say. I absolutely love his works and get such a thrill out of reading them. And the Yellow Rose was yet another great book that gave me hours of reading enjoyment. My dad is going to love this book since he loves the “western” types of books, religious, historical, or not. He is going to love the ranchers, the cattle drives, and the saloons. Though it had a touch of romance it was more historical than not and really was well written for the time period it was set in. It gives readers a great understanding or what life was really like for people in this time era. Jerusalem Ann, the main character in this book, really does become a living, breathing person through amazing writing skills. Morris does an amazing job in bringing any and all characters to life. This is a great book to consider purchasing if you are a fan of historical fiction or romance novels. This novel will touch your heart as well as entertain you.
