Heaven – Some Questions

By: Ashley Peterson

Heaven: Some questions and answers.
Beware: some laughing is involved.

Q: How do you “get into” Heaven?
A: If you have said this or something similar to, “Lord, I have sinned and fallen short of your glory. Pleas come and live in my life. I need you, Lord.” If that has been said wholeheartedly and with meaning, you are going to Heaven. However, the phrase “Once saved, always saved.” Is something that is false. How can you live a Holy life and still go get drunk, go “clubbing,” lie, cheat, steal, etc. and still be Holy? It’s a simple answer, You can’t!

Q: Will we remember our earth lives completely?
A: Completely? I’ve heard things that say we don’t. But Betty Malz, who died for twenty some minutes, said she remembered the people she saw in Heaven from her time spent on earth. You should read, My Glimpse of Eternity By Betty Malz.

Q: Will we learn about a lot of things that happened while we were on earth, that we didn’t know about when we were there?
A: My opinion is, yes. Everyone in Christian Authority always says, “You will have to ask God when you get to Heaven.” I believe that. If that isn’t true, we won’t remember anyway so its irrelevant.

Q: Will we have things like, cars?
A: If you love cars and enjoy them. And you have “stored up your treasures in Heaven” then why not? If we don’t have any “man made” items/things/etc. Then we will have better things that will “blow our minds” because they are so amazing. Okay, you love/like cars-a lot. So take all that likeness and times that by 1,000 (I’m sure it would be more but hey…it would be too much to grasp at this point.) and that my friend would be what would take the place of the car. I’d say Heaven is much more rewarding.

Q: how will we recognize each other if we all have perfect bodies?
A: Instinct, drive, familiarity, and even the Holy Spirit. If it is God who wants us to recognize each other, then He will make it happen. Though, I think its a funny question. To make that question would mean that you think humans, have REALLY awful bodies. It’s true, but its still funny.

If this offended you, Wake up. Don’t take offense so easily. And smile a little.
