Review:

I love the teaching and preaching style of Greg Laurie. He is so honest and truthful, no nonsense. And his writing is the same, full of wisdom and insight. I have yet to walk away from one of his books unchanged. Losers and Winners, Saints and Sinners absolutely amazed me in its infinite wisdom and inspiration. Laurie dug deep in to God’s Word to show readers how to persevere, to keep running that race so that we will eventually be the winners. He does an excellent job at pointing readers to all the saints and sinners that have come before, showing how each responded, how God worked in their lives, and how they became true winners in God’s eyes. So often when we fall we fail to get back up, choosing to wallow in self pity and glorying in our failure. We should follow Laurie’s advice and learn to crawl instead, pushing towards the end. Laurie’s book is truly inspiring. I was deeply touched, now motivated to pick myself up and to keep going even if at a snail’s pace. Always persevere.
