Review:

Being a woman, I have not studied too much on the subject of elders in the church as it is not a role I would desire for myself. Therefore, though I have read passages on leadership in the Bible, I have not gone any farther than that. I have simply continued reading past that portion, moving on to something that applies more to me personally. So, I found it very interesting to read this book. I learned a lot from the words penned by author Phil Newton. His own experience was clearly seen through the examples and discussions he shared within the pages of this book, giving us personal testimony as well as Biblical truth. This is a must have resource for any church that uses elders for its governing process. And it is a must for every church not using elders currently since it gives them the words spoken in the Bible for how a church should be set up and governed. There is power in this book, power to transform your church and make it grow, relieving stress as the church begins to run and operates as God intends. Let author Phil Newton share God’s plan with your church through this wonderful book.
