Review:

When I picked up this book to begin looking through it to review, I had to stop and smile at myself. I kept trying to wipe off all the smudges and fingerprints covering the front cover of the book. I enjoyed the layout of the book and how the information was presented.  So many kids are interested in detectives and investigations, so using an approach such as this is an excellent way to teach concepts to readers. And who better to investigate and learn more about than Jesus? Having “files” on Him is an excellent way to teach various lessons and to introduce Bible Stories. It is a different means of teaching our children, giving them a new way of learning about Him. It is perfect for Sunday School teachers, Christian school teachers, or homeschoolers because each file has an excellent presentation and resources to go deeper and to learn more. They are not too lengthy but can easily be expanded upon for further learning. I thought this book was a great tool to use for learning but do not think kids will read it on their own. It is best used as a study tool or in small groups.
