Matthew 6:30 If that is how God clothes the grass of the field, which is here today and tomorrow is thrown into the fire, will he not much more clothe you – you of little faith?
Trust in God. Have faith in Him to provide. Don’t lose hope. He will make a way.
These are all things I have said to myself time and time again over the years. I tend to worry, especially in the face of the unknown. So these statements became mantras for me and any time I feel the anxiety start creeping in, I remember this verse.
It is at that moment I am reminded to have faith in God because He is a creator of beauty and masterpieces, a Provider who always cares for His flock. He clothes the grass in the fields with flowers and sprinkles dew drops across them to shimmer in the morning light. He loves the world He created and provides for all of the needs of everything He has made. If He paints portraits of beauty in the fields, which are temporary and will be tossed in the fire soon, imagine what He can do for you, one who is created in His image?
This verse shows us that we should trust Him to be there for us, to have faith that His way is going to be better and to wait on Him. If He can care so much for something as insignificant as the plants in a field, we know without a doubt that He will care for us and provide exactly what we need when we need it most.
Is He YOUR Provider? Do you trust in Him to be there and to carry you through the storms of life? He does it every day in the world all around us. Why not put your faith in Him today?
