We don’t realize just how many women are included in the Bible. Of the more than 400 women, named and unnamed, meet just ten. Ten women whose lives had meaning, whose stories have truths that can be applied to our own lives. Women who, regardless of circumstances, were recorded in the Word of God and have something to teach us.

In this companion volume to the title book of the same name, meet the first ten women in the Women of the Word collection from the People of Faith series. Get to know them on a personal level. Read their stories, relate to their struggles, and let their lives influence your own. Not all of the women in the Bible have glowing, perfect stories. And not all of the women we study led Godly lives. But all have something to teach us.

Included in each lesson are: complete passages from Scripture showing every reference to these women, name meaning, a short introduction of what you will learn, a fill in the blank exploration of their lives and what the passages meant, final thoughts that relate their stories to our own, a short prayer for our lives, and reflection questions. Answers for each lesson are included in the back of the book.
