Does God hear our Prayers?
Psalms 17:1-2 Hear a just cause O Lord, Attend to my cry; Give ear to my prayer which is not from deceitful lips. Let my vindication come from your presence.
David prays this with confidence in Final Salvation. Our prayers must be pure of heart and confident.
Does God Always Care for his Children?
Psalms 37: 23-24 The steps of a good man are ordered by the Lord.And he delights in his way though he fall, he shall not be utterly cast down, for the Lord upholds him with his hand.
God will uphold us though ANYTHING!!!!!!!!!
How Long do God’s Promises Last?
Jeremiah 32: 40-41And I will make an everlasting covenant with them that I will not turn away from doing them good but I will put my fear in their hearts so that they will not depart from me.Yes I will rejoice over them to do them good and I will assuredly plant them in this land with all my heart and with all my soul.
It said that God will bless those who do his works but put fear in them so they will never leave him.
Is False Assurance dangerous?
Luke 18: 18-30 …a certain ruler asked him saying. Good master what shall I do to inherit eternal life? And Jesus said unto him why callest thou me good? none is good, save one that is God. Thou knowest the commandments, do not commit adultery, do not kill, do not bear false witness, honor thy father and mother and he said, all these things have I kept from my youth up. Now when Jesus heard these things he said unto him Yet lackest thou one thing: set all that thou hast and distribute unto the poor and thou shalt have treasure in heaven and come follow me. And when he heard this he was very sorrowful for he was very rich. And when Jesus saw that he was very sorrowful he said How hardly shall they that have riches enter into the kingdom of God! For it is easier for a camel to go though a needles eye, than for a rich man to enter into the kingdom of God. And they that heard it said, who then can be saved? And he said The things which are impossible with men are possible with God. Then Peter said Lo we have left all, and followed thee. And he said unto them Verily I say unto you, There is no man that hath left house or parents or brethren or wife or children for the kingdom of God’s sake. Who shall not receive manifold more in this present time and in the world to come life everlasting.
What are Christians assured of?
John 5:24 Most assuredly, I say to you, he who hears my word and believe in him who sent me has everlasting life and shall not come into judgment but has passed from death into life.
We are assured passage to Heaven, Salvation from eternal death. If we believe and follow the Lord we shall have eternal life in Heaven.
Will God ever disappoint his Children?
2 Timothy 1:12. For this reason I also suffer these things; nevertheless I am not ashamed for I know whom I have believed and am persuaded that he is able to keep what I have committed to him until that day.
God will never let us down. Timothy says “I am not ashamed for I know who I believe in and I know he keeps his promises”
