Review:

I have been fascinated by the women of the Bible for years and have often wished their stories could be told so we could see them for who they truly are and what they have done. I was thrilled to see this book and eagerly began reading upon receipt. From the start I was pulled into the story and was able to picture all that was going on. I loved reading it and feel I have a deeper understanding fo the times and what David and his followers experienced. Ahinoam came to life through the skilled writing of author Mesu Andrews. I was able to picture her and what was going on throughout the book. Andrews crafted a well written story that engages readers and makes you not want to stop reading. I am eager for more books in this series since I enjoyed this one so much. It was a wonderful book that not only gave me a better understanding of one of David’s wives whose story in the Bible is not detailed, but also helped me to better uderstand and visualize the times and experiences these people might have had. I highly recommend this book and others written by this talented author. I can’t wait for the next!
