Review:

I can’t recall if I have read any of Irene Hannon’s books before, but if I did I read the series completely out of order and randomly. I believe I have read her works before, as it does sound familiar. But regardless, this was a good stand alone book or part of the series. I was surprised to see there are twelve books already in the series with more yet to come. Hope Harbor is a nice, serene little town where romance blooms and hope is always available. I appreciate the clean romance of this story and how it naturally developed, with a little push from family members. It was a cute story. I am not normally a fan of contemporary romance and still prefer historical fiction over this genre, but it was a cute and hope stirring story of second chance love and swoony romance that leaves you feelin ooey gooey mushy. That is a true testament to the author’s ability as a writer to elicit feelings like that and leave you emotionally attached to the story and characters. Overall, it was a nice book and is one that you’ll enjoy if you are a fan of contemporary romance, clean romances, or Christian romance.
